A system, not a template.
Every site on the wall went through the same seven stages. Most of the work happens before any design you can see, which is exactly why the result does not look like everyone else's.
Listen first
One discovery call about the business, not the website. What you sell, who buys it, what a good customer is worth, where enquiries come from today, and what is working versus what is not. No jargon, no forty-field forms.
You get: A one-page brief: your goals and how we will measure success.
Research the market
Before any design: your local competitors, what buyers in your trade actually search for, and the best sites in your category anywhere in the world. We study what earns trust and what wins the enquiry, then we steal principles, never looks.
You get: A short research summary with real reference sites.
Message before design
What the site must say, decided page by page: the promise, the proof, the objections answered, the one action each page asks for. Words come first so the design serves the message instead of decorating around it.
You get: A sitemap and a page-by-page messaging plan.
Design direction, locked with you
Palette, type and layout direction chosen for your trade, shown with real references. We always sketch a second, genuinely different direction and kill the generic one. Nothing gets built until the direction feels like your business.
You get: The visual direction: colours, fonts and layout, agreed before code.
Build it properly
Hand-built pages on a component library refined across every site in this gallery. Every section must pass a ten-point anti-generic review: if it could belong to any business, it gets cut and done again.
You get: A staging link you can tap through on your own phone.
Launch is a gate, not a hope
Speed, mobile, accessibility and search checks all have to pass before the site goes live. Analytics and Search Console are wired up on day one so results are measured from the first visitor.
You get: A live site, plus a plain-English launch report.
Measure and improve
Enquiries are tracked, monthly care keeps content fresh, and improvements ship as we learn what your visitors do. A website is an asset that should compound, not a brochure that goes stale.
You get: Ongoing care, month to month, cancel any month.
Stage one is free.
The Acquisition Review looks at your whole online presence and prices the work exactly, before you commit to anything.
